Barbara Grotowska received her Masters of Fine Arts in printmaking from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 2010. She holds a postgraduate degree in Education and has over ten years of teaching experience.  

In 2011 Barbara visited Shenzhen Guanlan Printmaking Base as an artist-in-residence and decided to move to Shenzhen permanently. She is an active artist and has been exhibiting her works in Poland, Portugal, UK, USA, and China.  

As an educator, Barbara is actively involved in the international teaching community both as a workshop participant and as a speaker at various conferences.  

In her free time, she enjoys playing with her daughter, walking her dog, and painting in her sketchbook while exploring new places. 

Barbara is passionate about art, technology, and maker education. She firmly believes in the values of the IB program and is excited to join the ISNS community.
