Luke teaches MYP Sciences and started at ISNS in 2022.  

Originally from Adelaide, Australia, Luke has spent several years in China, most recently in Beijing where he taught Sciences and Economics at the British School of Beijing.  

Prior to teaching Luke had a diverse work history that includes running his own business, coordinating China programs for an Australian University, working for a large energy company, and designing bespoke travel programs for international schools. Passionate about experiential education Luke loves to embrace learning both in and outside the classroom and is able to draw on his diverse work history to help encourage and inspire students.  

A lifelong learner Luke has a Bachelor of Economics and Diploma of Language from the University of Adelaide, teaching certification from the University of Sunderland, and has studied Mandarin at Shandong University and the Guilin University of Technology. In his free time, Luke loves to get out into the countryside by bicycle and has been lucky enough to spend many days cycling across Yunnan, Guangxi, Fujian, Beijing and Taiwan.
