Ivy Liu began teaching at ISNS in 2022. She has a BSc(Hon) Mathematical Science degree from City University London with a top 10% achievement. She has a one-academic-year tutoring experience in London GCSE’s school. This is her fourth year of teaching math and her fourth-year teaching internationally. She has a strong understanding of students’ difficulties of learning math from different culture backgrounds. Ivy has a passion for Questions-Based Learning and empowering students to become good analysts and communicators. She is a warm and caring teacher and dedicated to delivering Math classes in a global and reflective context. 

She promotes study-buddy groups in class to ensure students feel supportive during their studies. She attends to individual needs and differences through differentiation to make sure that every student is learning the way they learn best.
