Darcy Fisher is a 1st-grade homeroom teacher at ISNS.  She is originally from Bloomington, Indiana (USA).  She has lived and worked as a teacher in China for 17 years and has taught a wide scope of students from Grade 1 to the university level. She has a 9-year-old son and a husband who is from Shenzhen, China.   

Her hobbies include writing poetry and playing music.  Fisher is a published poet in China and USA and is active in literary and art projects in her local community.   

Fisher loves teaching and expressing her creativity to enhance imagination and stimulate collaborative learning.  She feels that using her creative talents she can reach and encourage children to explore their strengths to become lifelong learners.
