Jimmy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media from Guangdong University of Technology. She began her career in the online media field. Ten years ago, she joined and co-founded a local Scouting program in Shenzhen. Since then, she has become more interested in education, which has led her to excel in the design and execution of experiential education programs, including outdoor activities, local cultural education and life skills for children. From her passion for international education and innovative education, she has been working in international schools for the past three years. Such work has included marketing, pastoral care, boarding supervision while teaching Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

Every learner is unique. Jimmy believes that the mission of an educator is to inspire learners’ inner passions whilst providing guidance and support. She is committed to becoming a coach-based educator to build a support system for learners in socialized learning.

She loves nature, hiking and other outdoor activities, and travelling with her family. She is also committed to community service. Jimmy is a volunteer teacher of Chinese as a foreign language, a volunteer with Shenzhen Learning Disorders Association and a member of Shenzhen Shuguang Rescue Team.

Jimmy is excited to be a part of ISNS as an MYP Learning Assistant and is most looking forward to her new journey in an IB school.
