James Baglole is from Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada. In PEI, he studied at the University of Prince Edward Island where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Next, he completed his Bachelor of Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland. James completed his teaching internship in Saint Lucia, West Indies which provided him with international teaching experience. James has also completed a master’s degree in Educational Leadership through the University of Western Ontario.
Additionally, James has certification through TESL Canada and has teaching experience in Seoul, South Korea.
James previously attended Shenzhen University for two semesters, studying the Chinese language. This is one of his hobbies outside of ISNS and often refers to this when modeling the concept of lifelong learning and being open-minded.
James came to China in 2013 and at ISNS since 2016 where he teaches Middle Years English: Language and Literature to Years 1, 2, 3 and 4
James also wants his students to become lifelong learners and to inquire whenever they have any questions and be passionate towards their interests and their learning. He also encourages his students to value collaborative work and to be caring and active learners.
