Sharon is the Mandarin teacher who specialized in Mandarin Language Acquisition teaching for the Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. She began her career of teaching by obtaining her Bachelor of Arts Degree . After seven years teaching in Xinyang Teachers’ College, she attended a two-year Postgraduate program and obtained a certificate in Language Teaching and Learning Theory at Beijing Normal University. Thereafter, she returned to Xinyang Teachers’ College to teach. In 2006, she moved to Shenzhen to be close to her family.

She has been at ISNS for more than 13 years. She worked as the school secretary for the first three years. Subsequently, she realized that teaching is still her passion, so she moved into a Mandarin teaching position. She has got her Certificate of “Accreditation in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language' in 2009 and she has been teaching Mandarin for 9 years. She has obtained 8 certificates of attending IB MYP and DP workshops from IBO recent a couple of years.

Sharon has always preferred life-long learning on all levels, and she is proud of being a part of ISNS, a great IB world school. She is excited for the continued growth during the coming school year.
