Ivana studied English Language and Literature for undergraduate. She then realised her passion in language teaching and pursed her Master of Science in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages in the University of Edinburgh. With experience of observing in Craigmount high school and working at Edinburgh Castle in Scotland, Ivana found her passion in teaching Chinese. She then worked as a Chinese teacher in international school in Shenzhen and aimed to create engaging, creative, safe and inspiring environment in class, as well as providing suitable and personalised approaches for students in their Chinese learning.

Ivana started to play Chinese Guzheng at the age of 7. She would mix her musical ability with Chinese teaching content for students’ better understanding toward Chinese culture. She is very excited for the new school year in ISNS!
