Ashley is originally from Ontario, Canada, though she has spent most of her adult life internationally.
She holds an Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Education degree with a specialization in International Education, and a Master of Education degree with a focus on Educational Leadership.
Ashley is passionate about building community, about supporting students toward developing the IB Approaches to Learning, and about striving to live the IB Learner Profile each day. She is an enthusiastic reader and loves seeking out new research on leadership and learning.
Her additional interests include traveling, cooking with her husband, walking her dog, and exploring new areas of Shenzhen.
Having joined the faculty when ISNS was conducting the initial IB accreditation process, Ashley has been part of exciting and ongoing growth in our academic programs. She feels lucky to be a member of the dynamic and welcoming ISNS community.
