Thelma Ginsberg is originally from Nicaragua, but she has lived in the US for most of her life.
She has been a teacher for 17 years, teaching in Florida, Texas, Nicaragua, Morocco, Albania, and Romania. This is her fourth year in China and her second year here at ISNS. She has a Master’s Degree in Education: Curriculum and Instruction.
As Literacy Coordinator she supports the implementation of classroom literacy programs from K3 – G5. She works to improve reading levels for all pupils. Thelma collaborates with teachers to plan and monitor student growth and learning in literacy.
She loves to travel and do yoga. She is passionate about teaching and inspiring students to be critical thinkers and creative problem solvers.
