Laurance Ginsberg is originally from Miami, FL. He has a Master’s Degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Peru, Nebraska. He has taught in Florida, Morocco, Albania and Romania; and now China! He taught two years in Beijing with the Canadian School of Beijing (CISB), before transferring to ISNS.  He is starting his tenth year in education, his eighth year internationally and his second year as PYP math coordinator at ISNS. 

Laurance loves to make learning interesting and fun and seeks to help teachers make education engaging and hands on.  He champions learning engagements and projects as a big part of the work learners do.  He believes in giving students as much voice and choice as possible. 

Laurance has a teacher’s certificate from Florida in the USA.  He certified to teach Math grade 5-9 and Elementary Ed. K-6.  He is married to Ms. Thelma, the ISNS PYP literacy coordinator, and they have two grown children.
