Miranda is the Head of Performing Arts at ISNS. She is also the MYP/DP Music teacher and Band Director.  Miranda is from Prince Edward Island, Canada and graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with a Bachelor’s of Music Education with a focus on wind instruments.  

While in PEI, Miranda performed with various groups such as Prince Edward Island Symphony Orchestra, UPEI Symphony Orchestra, Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra, Holland College Band, PEI Regiment Band, as well as various other groups and artists. Miranda has been with ISNS since 2011.  She has developed the ISNS Band program into a three-tier system starting from grades 3 to 12 with a multiple selection of wind instruments.  She is excited to be working with students and professionals with similar goals in education.  Miranda is proud to be a part of the first full, IB World School in Shenzhen.
