Madison joined the ISNS team in 2021.  She grew up in Boulder, Colorado, USA where she spent her time playing volleyball and spending as much time as possible outdoors.  She stayed in Boulder for college, attending the University of Colorado, where she earned her BA in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, along with her teacher's certification. 

After student teaching, Madison moved to New York City to start her teaching career and spent six years there.  While teaching in New York, she also attended the Teacher’s College at Columbia University to earn her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction.  Her first teaching position was at a charter high school in the Bronx where she taught almost every science class offered at the school.  Before coming to ISNS, Madison taught MYP and DP Biology and Chemistry in Mexico City for three years. 

When not teaching, Madison loves to spend time in nature, hiking and camping.   She also loves traveling, and eating delicious food wherever she is.
