Gretchen teaches Grades 6 and 7 Individuals and Societies at ISNS. She is from St. Louis, Missouri in the United States. She completed her Bachelor degrees in Linguistics and Spanish. After working at a university for a few years, she decided to pursue her Master of Education at Rockhurst University.
She taught at two secondary schools in the United States before she moved to Malaysia. In Malaysia, she trained English teachers in government schools. After two years, she moved to Myanmar and taught English. Missing Malaysia very much, she returned and spent four years teaching Humanities at international schools in Malaysia.
Gretchen is excited about living in Shenzhen and teaching at ISNS. She is delighted to join ISNS’s team of dedicated and kind teachers. She hopes to be a great contributor to the thriving ISNS community of learners.
