Having graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Chinese Language and Literature in Shanxi Normal University, Joyce Zhao continued her studies and obtained a Master Degree in Teaching Chinese as a second language in Nankai University of Tianjin.

 Joyce has a good knowledge and background of Linguistics, Chinese Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition. After working as a teacher for ten years, she has accumulated abundant experience and is familiar with all levels of Chinese teaching. Her educational background enables her to teach her students learning Mandarin in a scientific, effective and easy way.

 She likes reading books, and also has many years’ experience in Language and Literature teaching. She has obtained over 10 IB Chinese Language and Literature certifications both in MYP and DP. She is knowledgeable, easy-going, and enjoys the time with our students very much. She is excited to watch ISNS grow and expand as a top Canadian & IB World School.
