Nate is the Athletic Director and Head of Physical Education at ISNS. Nate is from Auckland, New Zealand and graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation. He then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Secondary School Physical Education Teaching from the Auckland College of Education. This is his fifth year of international teaching after working in Cairo and Beijing. Nate is looking to continue growing the schools athletics program and making the ISNS Phoenix a competitive force on the International School stage.

On the teaching front, Nate has worked in both the MYP and PYP. He is excited to be teaching the MYP PHE program and enjoys facilitating the inquiry based learning process. He sees physical education as an opportunity for students to develop holistically into productive members of a community. Nate is excited to join ISNS and is looking forward to the year ahead.
