Christen is a Grade 3 Homeroom teacher.  Christen is originally from Louisiana where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Louisiana Tech University. Upon graduating in 2013 she moved to Dhaka, Bangladesh to work for an NGO to teach ESL and science to girls aged five to fourteen from disadvantaged backgrounds. From this experience, Christen developed a passion for teaching by seeing the transformative power of an education first hand.

She has continued teaching since in South Korea and China and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in International Elementary Education from George Mason University in Virginia. Christen is excited to be at ISNS to teach and help empower students to their full potential.
