Nancy was born in Shanghai, China and spent her youth split between Shenzhen and the U.S.A. She holds a Master’s degree in Education, focusing on Instructional Technology/Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California. She is also an IB certified MYP teacher. After teaching English as a Second language for three years in Chicago, USA, she had made the decision to teach in China. 

This is her 3rd year teaching at ISNS, and she cannot brag more about the school to the parents. She is passionate about being an English Acquisition teacher in the MYP and loves to help her students achieve their best. Nancy is a firm believer in IB and builds her lessons on inquiry-based learning. Her classes are interactive and well-scaffolded.

In her free time, Nancy enjoys cooking, reading, travelling, and playing violin, piano and tennis. She is excited about coaching the girls’ volleyball team again this year. She is always enthusiastic about learning new things and is ready to take on challenges in the coming school year.
