Meng Qi teaches mathematics in the MYP and DP departments at ISNS. She specializes in mathematics and secondary education. She is originally China, then moved to Canada. She received both her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from Bishop’s University, Canada. Meng loves mathematics and loves teaching it.

Meng is a caring and compassionate teacher who believes that every student has great potential, and we just need to discover and foster it. She promotes positive and supportive learning environments where everyone feels comfortable to work with others or alone. She attends to individual needs and differences through differentiation to make sure that everyone is learning the way they learn. She always creates various projects for students to complete so that they see the applications of mathematics in real life.
