Yan Li is a new member of the ISNS Family and is excited to join the EY team as a TA. She was born in Harbin, China, and spent five and a half years living and learning in Toronto, Canada.

She started her career as a Registered Early Childhood Educator in 2020 in Toronto, after completing her early childhood education diploma at George Brown College. She worked with kids as a day care centre volunteer and tutor beginning in 2010. She has experience working with kindergarten classes, day cares, and community centre groups. She really enjoys her time working with children!

Yan has great patience, is sensitive to children’s individual needs, and develops meaningful relationships easily. She understands the importance of exploration and learning through play in the early years. She always encourages kids to develop new skills by trying new experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

 Her hobbies include traveling, sewing, and staying active. In her spare time, she likes to go on nature hikes with her family and work on challenging jigsaw puzzles.
