Steve joined ISNS in 2022. He was born in the U.S. and has lived in Shenzhen since 2012.  

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in education. Before becoming a teacher, Steve worked as a newspaper reporter and a certified personal trainer. Steve has 10 years of experience teaching at training centers: one in South Korea and nine in China. 

In his free time, Steve enjoys exercising and playing sports, cooking healthy vegan meals, reading nonfiction books, learning about the universe and spending time with his wife and their two cats. 

Steve is excited about the opportunity to learn and grow with his students in a positive classroom environment where open-mindedness, critical thinking and creativity are encouraged.
